He was hard working, creative, and adventurous. Houdini had many character traits that helped him to be successful in his career. He accomplished a great deal in his career. He also invented the quick escape diving suit as well as a kind of handcuff to only be used in his act. He was credited with being the first successful aviator in Australia. He invented a lot of new escapes that had never been done before. This type of performer became more popular because of him. He entertained everyone and built up the show business for magicians and escape artists. Harry Houdini's accomplishments were many. Later, another one of his challenges is that he got injured a lot, but he never smoked or drank. He later had to educate himself with books. Next, he also didn't finish high school and was not very educated. First, he felt that he was underpaid by his show manager, Marten Beck, the owner of the Orpheum circuit, where Houdini did his magic act. Besides his family being poor when he was young, he also had problems when he was starting his career. He decided to change his name to Harry Houdini. He said that the job was taken and walked in. He was the assistant cutter at a bowtie factory. When he was twelve, Enrich ran away to find a job. His family moved a lot because his father needed to find work. He did not go to the same school consistently. At the age of eleven, his oldest brother died of Tuberculosis. Harry Houdini was born Main Budapest, Hungary.
